Stratum wines is a young project started by the fourth generation of the Cerdan family.
The idea behind the wines is to use the high altitude, ungrafted old vine plots that have been in the family and work the vineyards in the most classical and careful manner possible .
With gentle vinifications and careful elevage, the wines have an incredible sense of freshness and complexity that set them apart from anything else produced in Jumilla.

The story of Equipo Navazos is the story of a passion that shared by a group of lovers and connoisseurs of traditional Andalusian wines.
In 2005 they started to select specific butts of particular finesse and complexity and initially bottled them in tiny quantities and only privately for their own enjoyment and their friends until 2007.
These solera wines and certain casks were comparatively neglected by the market in the last few decades. Some of them are unexpected but fortunate findings, others are the result of long-standing collaboration between Equipo Navazos and winemakers in the different Sherry producing sub-regions. They are unique and represent the pinnacle of what Sherry is capable of producing.
